...if only to see Allison Janney and J.K. Simmons cement their statuses as two of the best character actors around.
...if only to see Jennifer Garner in a whole new, lovely light.
...if only to have a steady stream of quality belly laughs.
...if only to remind yourself that sometimes there's nothing like a good movie. Yes, the hype, like Juno's tummy, has probably grown too large, but just go into it openly. It's no masterpiece, but it's exactly the caliber we should expect all movies to attain or exceed.

Well, maybe not this weekend - but maybe I'll get to see it next weekend. Intriguing recommendation.
love the analogy to juno's tummy. i agree with your last ditty. it isn't infallible as some make it out to be, but it's refreshing, and i (maybe not so) secretly worship diablo cody.
did you read her column in EW? i thought it seemed too edited. like EW was trying to restrict her too much and watered down the humor; it didn't seem like her. hopefully the next few get better. now i know why EW's been pimping her so much in the past few issues.
and jennifer garner was MY favorite part of juno.
I just want to say that I miss you, JJ.
HURLY: I read the column. Whatever. If she was smart, she'd limit her exposure at this point. Keep people wanting more. (She's better than Stephen King, though.)
JMR: I miss you too.
You're the main hype in my life for this one. It'll be right up my alley, though, so I doubt I'll be disappointed.
Since I had to stay in my bed until 5 pm yesterday, I have not yet been up to getting to the theater.
Been waiting to see since you touted it at Telluride. It didn't disappoint.
Was actually quite disappointed by this one. The dialogue, especially the kids', was so self-conscious. Diablo Cody is supposedly so hip and in touch - with lines like "honest to blog"? Really??
You hate joy.
